On March 16th, ICCS successfully completed the departure guarantee task of the extra-long and extra-heavy special cargo of Russian Airbridge Cargo Airlines RU130 flight, with sufficient preparation, standardized operation process and perfect emergency plan.

The special cargo of 10 stainless steel tubing, about 12 meters long, with a total weight of 15.4 tons, was bound for St. Vincent from Shenzhen.

Aviation special cargo refers to the goods that need special treatment or special attention due to the nature, value or weight of the goods in the process of collection, transportation, storage, storage, transportation and delivery in air transportation, such as valuable goods, fresh and perishable goods, living animals and vehicles.

Before guaranteeing this flight, ICCS paid attention to information communication, and actively discussed the operation plan with Russia Airbridge Cargo Airlines and Shenzhen CTS International Logistics Co., Ltd., and reviewed the operation equipment, cargo safety, personnel arrangement and other procedures one by one to ensure the smooth completion of this guarantee task.

After mastering the cargo information in advance, OPS arranged special person to follow up the whole process and deployed a strict docking plan. In actual operation, we overcame a number of support difficulties:

Difficulty 1: unloading on the platform

The tubing is 12 meters in length and 1 ton in weight, which cannot be unloaded by manpower. Two thick ropes should be tied to the cargo center part, and then lifted by forklift truck and moved to the unloading area.

With superb and steady driving skills, forklift drivers constantly adjust the center of gravity of cargo, and unload 10 oil pipes in a short time.

Difficulty 2: Passing the X-ray machine

After clearing the platform space, a forklift gently placed the goods on the blue pallets, while another forklift slowly pushed the goods at the tail. Through the tacit cooperation of the platform personnel and vehicles, the goods passed the security check and entered the warehouse smoothly.

Difficulty 3：Build up

Experienced staff were arranged in the storage area to take measures according to local conditions and successfully fixed the net of 10 tubing assembly plates with solid professional skills through several attempts and successfully delivered to the apron.
