Recently, in the List of Designated Supervision Sites for Imported Meat and the List of Designated Supervision Sites for Imported Fruit published by the General Administration of Customs, ICCS successfully passed the acceptance test and officially obtained the operation qualification of designated supervision sites for imported meat and imported fruit.

The designated supervision centre for imported meat is located on the second floor of Operation Department 2, with a total area of about 750㎡, which is divided into two layers, the first layer is mainly used for cargo storage and customs inspection area in the reservoir area, and the second layer is for inspection professional technical room and customs administrative office area.

There are 50 CCTV stations in the venue, of which 25 are specially controlled by customs; Digital high-definition cameras are covered along the transportation channels of frozen goods, ensuring that the whole inspection can be monitored and traced, and meeting the requirements of customs electronic supervision.

The functions of the first floor area are divided as follows:

Warehouse: 290㎡.

Cool room 1 and 2: -18℃ to -30℃, with a total storage capacity of 296m³

Cool room 3, 4: 2℃ to 8℃, with a total storage capacity of 312m³

Inspection area: 160㎡, 10-12℃

Sorting area: 75㎡, 10-12℃

Pick-up area: 100㎡, 10-12℃

After the designated supervision centre for imported meat is put into use, it will enhance the convenience of customs clearance of imported meat, improve the port function of Shenzhen Airport, further expand the transportation network of cool chain goods, and promote the diversified construction of aviation logistics in an orderly manner.
